There was a huge surprise/impression of 75+ persons attending the 15th Annual Corn Party in Lake Country beside the City of Kelowna

old record of 57 - YES, it is now a new club record - WoW!    

 

Guess what there were 10 persons from Edmonton and 3 from Winnipeg + 2 Kelowna - most of 15 were attending the 3rd ADG 2025 in Calgary on Aug 12th - 14th.  We all really enjoyed the wonderful time of eating free meal of corn  

cobs, smokies/buns, potato chips & water bottles and socializing w/ old/new faces among ourselves. Also, there was 50/50 sales for the lucky winner of $145 bucks!  

 

Congrats to OVAD Party Committee for their wonderful - successful host/party! 

 

AD55 Club sent Shell Jamieson, Dean Sutton and myself there to have good city sightseeing and possible host facilities - venues for a future host of

Western Canada in 2029 or so and I will submit my progress report for open information/awareness during our club's upcoming General Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16th.

 

Then, it will be finalized via a formal proposal hopefully after our internal checklist and special meetings in Alberta and emails/FT - Zoom Meetings & calls currently prior to our next General Meeting on November 18th.
