CLUB MEMBERSHIP OF SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2025 - AUGUST 31ST, 2026 FINAL DEADLINE: March 1st, 2026 - It is officially closed till next term of September 1st, 2026 - August 31st, 2027 to be available in late August 2026
2) Final Total of Club Membership: 112 Club Members for 2025 - 26!
3) Club’s 2025 - 26 Calendar - Now, you can order - purchase one or more Calendar(s) for the discounted rate of $15 @ without a club membership required
4) Host Committee Executives of 4th Alberta Deaf 55+ Games - Edmonton on August 10th - 13th, 2026 News Updates a) For those 4 Formal Registration Form - Fees - Payment Processes, they all are already set readily for the public information/ awareness - SMILES!
Early Bird Combo Rate/Reg Form/Payment due June 2nd and Final Deadline for Registration Form/Payment due July 14th
GOOD NEWS! AD 55 Club already reminded you all again that our proposal was approved last month that those hearing participants w/ ASL Skills will be fully welcomed to join, register, pay fees and participate with all of us for this upcoming 4th AD55+G 2026 this year. It will be a wonderful opportunity for a “wholesome” Deaf community in Alberta and across Canada to gather and play among ourselves so well upon a trial basis this summer before proceeding to include the same group for our upcoming 2nd CD55+G - 2027 in Calgary next year.

b) Our H C - 10 Executives & 4 Sub-Committee Head Directors; Hotel Headquarter - Ground Transportation - Social Media/Photos - Games were gathered at EADCC on March 14th. Here is our list of our meeting/results done as follows;
i) “Hotel Headquarter” was finalized w/ the clear choice of 1 of 3 hotel sites nearby the Games Venue - CLRC site but we are still waiting for formal contract/agreement from the hotel for time being - absolutely, we will update you all next meeting.
ii) “Head Photographer” was finalized that Jim Kvarnberg will select some assistant photographers /team subject to their games registration forms being firstly completed by early June - July.
iii) “Head Transportation”, Shell Jamieson has already taken 3 volunteers/drivers; Andre, Bill & Ken readily committed to help w/ sharing driving duties for those 4 days/nights including some pick-ups/drop-offs for airport / bus sites besides hotel - games shuttle services here in Edmonton on Aug 10th & 14th, respectively. Will share more details with you all after next meeting.
iv) “Head Games” Wayne Monahan was introduced to oversee our Games fr Deaf & Hearing w/ ASL Skills groups and will recruit some registered Games Participants as his possible assistants for each round - up to 9 total rounds of games by early June - July. As of today, there are already 2 Games Registrants Smiles & Cheers!
